Hello Chris, Follow these steps to search for specific text on a webpage: Search within a webpage. Open Safari if it is not already open, and then go to the webpage whose contents you want to search.
Choose Edit Find Find, or press Command (⌘)-F. A search bar appears at the top of the webpage. In the search field at the right end of the search bar, type the word or phrase you want to find on the webpage. To reverse the direction of the search, click the Back or Forward buttons. When you’re finished, click Done. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
Best, Sheila M. I read the iPhone User Guide as suggested above: Toward the bottom of the document it says: 'Search the page. Scroll to the bottom of the suggested results list and tap the entry under On This Page. Tap to see the next occurrence on the page.' I'd like to know where the arrow is.
For example, here is a screenshot of a 'search the page' action I did for the word 'and': As shown at the bottom of the screenshot, there are 46 instances of 'and' but no arrow appears anywhere. Please let me know where this elusive ' ' is. (Many people say to just use Google's Chrome browser because it is easier and better designed and I do use it but sometimes you are forced to use Safari.).
